We’ve compiled a list of the most commonly asked questions about using the EGLOO Cam app and device settings, including account sharing, login history, motion tracking, screen flipping, LED settings, and multi-camera viewing.

This guide will help you troubleshoot and optimize your EGLOO Cam experience!

1. How to Share an EGLOO Cam Account?

If multiple users need access to the same account, follow these steps:

📌 Disable device access restrictions in Security Settings → This allows the account to be accessed from multiple devices.

⚠ Warning: If you share your account, anyone with the login credentials can access your camera. We do not recommend this for security reasons.

2. How to Share a Camera with Another User?

Instead of sharing an account, we recommend device sharing:

📍 Go to “More” → “Device Sharing”
📍 Enter the new user’s name and account details
📍 The invited user can now access the camera

Device Sharing Modes:

  • FAMILY Mode: Grants full access (except for purchases and settings changes).
  • GUEST Mode: Allows viewing only (no control over the camera or settings).

3. Understanding Login History

You can monitor account security by checking login history in the Security Settings:

✅ See which device accessed your account and at what time.
✅ Only the master device can view login records.
✅ Shared users cannot see login history.
✅ If you notice unauthorized access, change your password immediately.

4. How to Transfer the Master Device?

To transfer the master device (primary account holder):

1️⃣ Enable “Only Approved Devices Can Access” in Security Settings
2️⃣ Log into the account on a new device
3️⃣ A prompt will appear asking if you want to transfer master access
4️⃣ Accept the change on the original master device
5️⃣ The original master device will be logged out, and the new device will take control

5. How to Enable Two-Way Communication?

By default, EGLOO Cam requires users to press a button to switch between speaking and listening.

To enable real-time two-way communication:
📍 Go to Settings → Audio Settings → Enable Two-Way Talk Mode

⚠ Note:

  • Simultaneous use of the microphone and speaker may cause background noise.
  • We recommend turning this feature on and off as needed.

6. How Does Motion Tracking Work?

📌 Motion tracking is available on EGLOO Cam S4 and S4+ only.

✅ Automatically follows movement within the camera’s field of view
✅ Limited to a 10-minute session (must be restarted manually)

⚠ Limitations:

  • The camera cannot track movement outside its current view.
  • Tracking is limited to objects detected within the visible area.

7. How to Flip the Screen When the Camera Is Mounted Upside Down?

If your EGLOO Cam is installed upside down (e.g., ceiling-mounted), you can flip the video:

📍 Go to Settings → Display Settings → Rotate Screen

This will adjust the orientation so you can view the feed correctly.

8. How to Turn Off LED Indicator Lights?

Many users find the green or blue LED lights distracting, especially at night.

To disable them:
📍 Go to Settings → LED Indicator → Turn Off

This will prevent unnecessary LED light disturbances while keeping the camera operational.

9. Can I Turn Off the Infrared (IR) Night Vision LED?

No. The red IR LED light is essential for night vision and cannot be turned off.

⚠ Warning:

  • Covering the IR light will reduce visibility in dark environments.
  • IR LEDs are crucial for clear night-time recording.

We recommend leaving this feature enabled for security reasons.

10. How to Watch Multiple Camera Feeds on One Screen?

If you have multiple EGLOO Cams, you can view up to four cameras simultaneously:

📍 Go to the Multi-View Settings
📍 Assign cameras to each section
📍 Watch up to 4 live feeds at once

⚠ Note:

  • Unused sections will remain inactive.
  • You can switch cameras as needed.
